That a large group time before Sunday morning ESL
classes has become a 20-minute “opening assembly”?
It is amazing how quickly a class can memorize
scripture by using simple songs & Bible verse
chants! Glenda Reece has recently published a
booklet titled, Bible Verse Chants organized in
lessons. Each lesson contains a chant, along with
applicable pronunciation rules, sound units, stress,
content words and rhythm. With spiral binding, they
are laid out to make it easy to copy them onto an
overhead slide. The cost is $15 plus shipping.
Simply email Glenda@eslts.com with the number
requested & mailing address. She will then mail the
package with an invoice inside.

That Tutoring Children/Youth is a meaningful
ministry, often needed during the summer? Have you
visited the local school in your community, and have
you made friends with the principal and/or built a
relationship with the school? Many times there are
students who would welcome additional help. Pray
about how God would open ministry opportunities to
use you in helping tutor, perhaps including your own
family!

women? Offering stories of real people doing
missions, simply go to www.myMISSIONfulfilled.com –
The site contains four focus areas which will
feature information with specific significance to
each area – My Journey, My World, My Life, and
Tangents. The Tangents portion of the site includes
interactive activities, products which support the
articles, & a listing of missions opportunities with
which one can become involved.
That the Port of New Orleans is the busiest port in
the world in terms of the number of ships that pass
through annually? Roughly 7,000 ocean-going vessels
enter the lower Mississippi River each year! That
means Global Maritime Ministries (SBC) has the
potential to reach around 200,000 international
seafarers each year with the gospel.
That in this country, we hear the name of Jesus most
every day? Yet there are people in this world who
have no chance to hear His name, much less learn
about Him. Are you willing to pray for the
“forgotten”? You can! Please contact prayerthreads@imb.org
because You can make a difference!
